Tonight at 8:00 on Oxygen it’s The Bad Girls Club reunion part 2, FOX has the American Country Awards, Discovery has a special Moonshiners and on ID it’s the 3rd season finale of Motives & Murders.  At 9:00 on Lifetime it’s a special Dance Moms, E! moves The Drama Queen to a new time slot and on HGTV it’s the 8th season finale of Income Property. 

On Discovery at 10:00 it’s the special Amish Mafia, CBS has The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Lifetime has another Dance Moms special, FX has the 3rd season finale of Sons of Anarchy and on Comedy it’s the 5th season finale of Tosh.0.  At 10:30 on CNBC check out the 2nd season finale of The Car Chasers and on Comedy it’s a special Kroll Show.

Six by Sondheim premieres on HBO tonight

Tonight at 9:00 it’s the final installment from the HBO Docs fall series called Six by Sondheim which is a highly personal profile of Sondheim as revealed through the creation and performance of six of his iconic songs.  This feature documentary is told primarily in Sondheim’s own words as it weaves together various interviews with him and rarely seen archival material spanning more than 50 years including new footage of Ethel Merman performing “Gypsy”.

Stephen Sondheim is a legendary composer-lyricist who made his Broadway debut at the age of 27 as the lyricist for “West Side Story”.  Over the last six decades he has redefined musical theatre with such groundbreaking works as “Company”, “Sweeney Todd” and “Sunday in the Park with George”.  The documentary will feature re-stagings with some great actors including Darren Criss, America Ferrera and Jeremy Jordan.  If you are a Broadway fan you definitely won’t want to miss this one!! On CW it’s the One Direction iHeartRadio Album Release Party, ABC has the series premiere of The Great Christmas Light Fight and on HBO it’s the special Six by Sondheim.  On NBC at 9:02 it’s the two hour 4th season premiere of The Sing-Off.

Tonight at 8:00 on CBS was the 23rd season finale of The Amazing Race, History had a special American Pickers, ABCF had the original telefilm Holidaze and on Discovery it's a special Naked & Afraid.

On History, Lifetime and A&E it's part one of the two part Bonnie and Clyde, Ion has the original telefilm Christmas Belle, DA has a special A Haunting, Bravo has a special Shahs of Sunset and on Oxygen it's the 2nd season winter finale of Snapped.

At 10:00 on Discovery it was the series premiere of Dude, You're Screwed, CBS has the 6th season fall finale of The Mentalist, Restaurant Impossible has a special episode on Food and on DA it's the 1st season finale of When Ghosts Attack.

The Grammy Nominations Concert, tonight

Tonight at 8:00 on epix it's the special The Improv: 50 Years Behind the Brick Wall and then at 9:00 on Showtime it's the 1st season finale of Time of Death.

Up at 10:00 on CBS it's The Grammy Nominations Concert Live! and on CMT, Sweet Home Alabama moves to a new time slot.  On Showtime at 11:50 it's the special Shobox: 12/6/13 and then at 11:59 on Comedy it's the special Chris D'Elia: White Male. Black Comic.

True Detective...teaser & poster!

In just a little over a month the new series from HBO, True Detective premieres & I can't wait.  This is the show starring Matthew McConaughey & Woody Harrelson who play two Louisiana detectives whose lives keep colliding as they spend 17 years searching for a killer.  It all starts in 1995 when they are investigating a bizarre murder and continues on with the reopening of the case in 2012.  

HBO has brought us great shows like The Sopranos, Sex & the City and Big Love and I think this show might rank up there too & we only have 38 days until the premiere.  So check out the teaser below & tune in on 1/12/14 at 9:00 PM.
