Cartman finds love? What else is special tonight?

First up let me note that the season finale of American Weed is on at 9 rather than in it's usual 10:00 slot...why do networks always seem to do this with the finale episode? Prior to DVR days I missed a lot of series/season finales!

At 10:00 Restaurant Impossible moves to it's new time slot on Food & then also at 10 on Comedy is the 16th season spring finale of South Park & the episode title is...Cartman Finds Love!!  I can't wait to see this.

Locked up Abroad is back tomorrow!

The cult favorite Locked up Abroad is back for it's 6th season on the National Geographic Channel & the season premiere kicks off with a great episode about Hollywood actor Erik Aude who was in Dude Where's My Car & his unfortunate arrest in Pakistan for unknowingly smuggling opium which put his budding acting career on hold.  This show gives viewers a first hand account of arrest, imprisonment & the terror that goes along with being locked up in a foreign country.  This season sounds like it's going to be a good one & after watching the Popped marathon Friday I'm primed & ready for this new season!!  See below for a snippet from the season premiere & then tune in to NatGeo tomorrow at 10:00 to watch the season premiere.

I can't believe David Silver is having a baby with Megan Fox

I read last night that Brian Austin Green & Megan Fox are expecting a baby, I have no idea how far along she is or anything else...I'm just wondering if the kid will have her thumbs?  Anyway, I assume it will be cute thumbs or not...they are both very attractive so they have the potential to make an attractive kid or a fugly kid, to rights don't always make a right, you know what I'm saying?  Congrats to the Green Foxes on their new addition!!

Congrats to Bill & Giuliana Rancic!

I meant to post this yesterday & of course forgot but I read about the Rancic's dream finally coming true & they are pregnant via surrogate & are going to be parents!  I've been watching their show since episode 1 & this is so very exciting, we know what a long & crazy & tiring journey this has been for them so I truly wish them the best with their new adventure.  To read more check out the full story at E! where I also borrowed the photo.

We will of course get to see all of this unravel on Giuliana & Bill but why wait?  Watch the moment when they find out they are pregnant...also on E!

Drama by Bravo!

Holy insanity all over Bravo Sunday night kids & it all started with the Atlanta reunion, part 3 which yes, is the last part & thank God because listening to these women argue over each other on repeat was enough to drive me to drink.  Its impossible to even follow a story or question response because someone else always jumps in with their opinion of it when nobody even asked for it.  Andy constantly trying to push Nene & Kim to be friends again is really getting old after how many seasons now, 5?  I don't care much for Marlo or Sheree or how much they all judge each other based on things they hear from someone at the salon who heard it from someone else who heard it from someone on speakerphone at the gas station.  I just find it strange that a group of so called friends/acquaintances never seem to confirm anything with the person they heard about.  Honestly, I'm happy to see this season end & am looking forward to Don't be Tardy for the Wedding!

As for Real Housewives of New Jersey...the first episode rolled out with plenty of drama at the Jersey Shore! If I were Melissa I would have felt the same way, what is with guys? They tell you that the shore house is totally ready to stay in & the place is a construction site! I personally think that with this cast the instigators are Ritchie, Joe Guidice & Joe Gorga...so far the women are trying to keep it mild & support each other but clearly by the season preview that is so not the case as the season progresses.  I'm very excited to see what's in store with the loud & ballsy Italian families.  I would also like to note that Joe Guidice can quit with the arm weights until he gives birth.  He can also try to be a better dad & husband because he's a detached, rude, selfish dick & I'm sure Joe Gorga was right & that's what's causing so much of Teresa's insecurities & jealousy.  Between this & Celebrity Apprentice I hope I don't get sick of Teresa!

Kathy...I watched it...

I of course tuned in for the series premiere of Kathy & I loved it...not that I wasn't expecting to but I'm just so happy it lived up to my expectations.  I will say that I think I would be a wonderful guest for the show, I've been watching Kathy since I first noticed her in Four Rooms as Betty, the woman who caused the awful night that Ted the bell hop has to go through & her part was small but memorable.  I've been watching Bravo since Being Bobby Brown & I've been into reality TV since The Real World, season 1 which had hottie Andre who happened to be from my area & I later waited on when he shopped at a record store I worked at but that's beside the point.

Kathy looked amazing on her show as did her 3 lovely guests though the guy really didn't say much but when 1 of your guests is a promoter of Colombian whores & the other saw (with 5 others) Wilson Phillips perform at a discount store its a little difficult to compete there.  The show has your basic late night setup, she does a monologue & then had her 3 guest panel for a chat, she then showed a hilarious bit, had her staff out for a short chat & then closed with her mom Maggie!  I won't say anything else as I don't want to give anything away but if you are a Kathy fan then check it out.

Kathy premieres tonight!!

Tonight at 8:00 on Velocity is the 3rd season premiere of Cafe Racer.

Up at 9:00 we have the series premiere of Great American Manhunt on NatGeo, on TruTV is the series premiere of Not Safe for Work and over on my favorite channel Bravo is the 2nd part of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion!

Up at 10:00 also on Bravo is the series premier of Kathy...starring Kathy Griffin & her wino mom Maggie, it's basically a talk show but without celebrity guests & I can't wait for it because I love Kathy, I love Maggie, I love Bravo & I love me some celebrity dish delivered dirty.  Actually, now that I think of it, Kathy should have me on as a guest.

Girls...I watched it...

Last Sunday I tuned in to the series premiere of Girls on HBO & I had only seen a couple previews so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect.  I was pleasantly surprised by how well the humor balanced with the sadness of everything.  The main character Hannah isn't the hottest chick but she totally believes in herself until her parents tell her they are cutting her off which makes her tell her boss that she can no longer intern for free & needs to be paid.  This of course causes her to lose her job & then she sleeps with that guy, the guy who never calls unless he wants something & you know you shouldn't be seeing him but you can't help it...him.  Anyway, there is far more to the show than just that, there are other girls (they are all in their early 20's) on the show of course & I think I'm going to continue watching this one.  If you haven't seen it yet I suggest you give it a shot...it's on Sunday nights from10:30 to 11 on HBO.  For more about the show click here.

The Little Couple's new business

I just finally got caught up on The Little Couple from last night & I just adore Bill's new shop Rocky & Maggie's Pet Shop. I could see all of the adorable clothing options & collars & totes the boutique offered & they totally put PetSmart/PetCo/Pet Supplies Plus to shame with the selection. The nice thing is that this is a dog shop, period so they have more space to offer a much larger variety of dog products vs. those chain stores who also offer items for a ton of other animals too.  I definitely plan to shop there if I'm ever in Houston but in the meantime I just might have to check out their website and I think you should too!

Dick Clark dies at 82

There is a great write up on Detroit News about Dick Clark who sadly passed away of a heart attack this morning while checked into the hospital for an outpatient procedure.  For the whole story & more on the eternally ageless Dick Clark & his amazing career from American Bandstand to Pyramid to Rockin' Eve & more, check out this article.

Yo MTV Raps Special!

There are a couple specials that are on tonight that you should probably know about.  First up at 7:00 (sorry, that's like now) is the 1st hour of the VH1 special Yo! MTV Raps Moments & then hour 2 follows at 8:00.

Also up at 8:00 over on Ovation is the special In Search of Food: San Diego.  On BIO at 10:00 is the special Gang World.  Also at 10 on Discovery is the special Moonshiners: Cannonball Run.

I'm super excited about the fact that Revenge is back tonight at 10 with all new episodes until the season finale!

Coast Guard Alaska season premiere

Sorry about the late post today but I was down all day with a migraine...too much TV I'm sure!  Tonight at 8:00 is the series premiere of Park Secrets on Travel.  At 9:00 on Weather is the 2nd season premiere of Coast Guard Alaska & on Discovery is the 3rd season finale of Sons of Guns.

Tuesday, April 17, 2012

Push Girls & Private Practice

Just wanted to make a note that Private Practice is back with a new episode tonight & will be calling 10:01 home on ABC, Tuesday's now as the new hit Scandal is taking the Thursday 10 spot.

Also in the 10:00 slot on Sundance is the special sneak peek of Push Girls which will premiere June 5th at 10 & this series follows 4 amazing women who all by accident or illness are paralyzed.  The series will shed light on life in a wheelchair the same way the producer showed us the real reality of the lives of the Roloff family on Little People World & the struggles of obesity in today's society with Ruby.  For more about the ladies on the show and the show itself check out the site.

Ringer season finale

Tonight at 9:00 on Velocity is the 2nd season finale of American Icon, Weather has the series premiere of Braving the Elements, NatGeo Wild has the 1st season finale of Caught in the Act as well.  If you are in the mood for something a little more mysterious then tune in to Travel for the 3rd season premiere of Mysteries at the Museum or the 1st season finale of Ringer on CW.

At 9:31...much to my chagrin the 2nd season finale of Raising Hope airs tonight & the name of the episode is I want my baby back, baby back, baby back so part of me thinks there could be some BBQ & a stolen baby ahead but if I remember correctly Jimmy's baby mama comes back & isn't dead after all.  Granted, that could have been a dream I had but I guess we'll find out tonight.

At 10:00 on Nat Geo is the series premiere of Amish: Out of Order which I'm very interested in as I watched Amish in the City but missed the stupid finale because the aired it on a different night & this was pre-DVR days so I've been left feeling a little empty ever since, I need the closure.  The producers of this new series are the same who did Amish in the City so I'm hoping that maybe they will release to Netflix or something now...I've searched everywhere & cannot find it but whatever, that's beside the point.  This new 10 part series follows Amish folks who have chosen to leave the life behind & join this insane technology fused world most of us already live in so I'm definitely going to check this one out.  Also on at 10:00 is the 1st season finale of Beyond Belief on OWN & the 2nd season premiere of Off Limits airs on Travel.

I ran across this from Ellen while I was looking for the Shah's clip & can't believe i never saw it before.  I love Ellen & I love RHOBH so this is freaking hilarious, especially with the tomato.  Enjoy!

Andy Cohen reacts to SNL skit

I was flipping around the internet last night & ran across this entv video about Andy Cohen's reaction to the WWHL skit that SNL did & I actually didn't see the skit but I saw a clip on WWHL & it was quite funny.  The guests were GG & MJ from Shahs so I was trying to find the whole sketch to watch & it's nowhere to be found, boo.  I guess I'll have to pull it up OnDemand.  Anyway, here's the video, enjoy!!

Popped up Abroad begins & ends?

I'm a little confused by tonight's lineup it kicks off at 8:00 with the series premiere of Popped up Abroad on Nat Geo, or does it?

Chiller has an original telefilm Brian Keene's Ghoul up at 9:00 and also in that slot on CBS is the 2 hour special ACM Presents: Lionel Richie & Friends in Concert.  If neither of these sound like a good time then check out TLC for the 2nd premiere of Say Yes to the Dress: Bridesmaids.

At 11:00 on Nat Geo is the 1st season finale of Popped up Abroad...see my confusion here?  The series starts at 8 & then the finale is at 11...at least that's what my data says but when I pull up the guide Nat Geo is rerunning all of the Titanic stuff from last weekend that I wrote about & Popped up Abroad is on 4/20 with a marathon running from 8 to 12 which would explain the start & finish of a series in one night.  I guess tonight will be a crapshoot but I suppose that's what you get on a Friday the 13th, nothing is as it seems.

Best Friends Forever...I watched it

So, I just watched Best Friends Forever on my DVR of course & I liked it, the show is funny & cute & a great parallel between a couple & 2 female BFF's.  The premise is that Jessica (played by Jessica St. Clair) was just served divorce papers by her jackhole husband so her best friend Lennon (played by Lennon Parham) insists that she comes back "home" to where she now lives with her boyfriend Joe (played by Luka Jones).

Of course there are some adjustments on all their parts as everyone tries to make this situation workable for all involved & it all starts with their turn to host "lazy Sunday" which was being run by Joe & is now being run by the girls & of course that causes some clashes to say the least!  Bottom line, I laughed out loud 3 times so I think this one is a keeper so I hope it doesn't get cancelled like every other sitcom I seem to enjoy.

As the season nears its end let the cancellations begin!

FOX has cancelled Breaking In & has pulled it from the schedule though it was supposed to return on Tuesdays after New Girl on 4/24.  Initially Breaking In was cancelled after last season but was obviously brought back.  So the network will most likely air the remaining episodes over summer but the chances of it getting another come back...well, those are pretty much gone!

ABC has a new daytime talk show with Katie Couric coming aptly titled Katie so in order to put her on the air the network had to pull something else & it was between General Hospital & The Revolution.  Well, The Revolution is a new show & while I like it I don't actually watch it but I was a very loyal GH fan for many years of my life.  During the whole Brenda/Karen/Jagger/Jason saga I would rush home from school & couldn't miss an episode but once I got older & got more of a social life I stopped watching the show.  I guess the GH fans have been all up in arms threatening to boycott Katie if the show is pulled so ABC is pulling The Revolution.  Not really sure if the GH fans actually had anything to do with the network's decision but I'm sure it factored in somewhere.

Up All Night Season Finale

Tonight at 9:31 on NBC is the 1st season finale of Up All Night.  At 10:00 on Science is the 1st season finale of Inside the Design.  Over on ID is the 3rd season premiere of Sins & Secrets.  At 11:59 on Adult Swim is the  2nd season premiere of Eagleheart.

I Trust the B!

I just finished watching Don't Trust the B--- in Apartment 23 & I liked it!  James Van Der Beek is quite hilarious on the show playing himself.  Krysten ritter & Dreama play the roommates Chloe & June & Chloe used to date James who is now her straight gay BFF.  Also on the show is Liza Lapira who plays the Chloe's neighbor who is also obsessed with her.  Liza was on Traffic Light last season which I really liked but apparently has been cancelled because I've seen Liza & a couple other actors from the show on new shows.

Anyway, the premise of this show is that June just got an awesome new job & has been relocated to NYC but when she arrives for work she learns that the company has been seized by the government & the boss is being arrested for fraud so because of this she no longer has the corporate apartment she was provided by said boss.  Due to this issue June has to find somewhere to live ASAP & this is where she finds her roommate Chloe who she thinks is perfect.  That's all part of Chloe's plan of course...she gets a roommate & then once she gets the money out of them turns into a bitch & they in turn move out.  Not this time though...June saw through the game & bit back so it seems that this partnership might not actually be all bad!  The show is funny, and most everything involving James involves Dawson's Creek references which just makes me so happy.  So all it all the show is funny & I am going to add it to my series record list & I think you should too.

Pauly D Project...I watched it...

I checked out the first 2 episodes of this show & it's what I expected for the most part...like Jersey Shore meets Real World. Pauly is the new resident DJ at The Palms so him & his posse of 2 large fellas & a drunk have moved out there to get to work.  I found that watching Pauly get all excited to see himself on the room keys & the marquis & all over the hotel was great, it was genuine & I was excited for him.  I will say that 2 episodes in & I'm already beyond over the phrase "yeah buddy" so I don't know that I'll continue watching this one.  Yeah right...I'm sure I'll catch reruns.
