Real Housewives of Atlanta finale

After the SAG Awards I tuned in for the season finale of Real Housewives of Atlanta & it was a good one...not as good as I hoped but good all the same.  Now let's discuss this for a minute ok?

"Miss Lawrence" has an amazing voice & is a great performer but this "miss" thing has to go.  You all know that I fully support all of the gays but a man in heels & regular clothes just looks completely idiotic.  You have to go all or nothing, either be a man, be a woman, or be a drag queen but don't half ass it by putting on makeup & heels with your jeans & t-shirt because that's a hot mess & no gay men wants to look like a hot mess!

Now on to the important part, Cynthia's wedding (I loved her unconventional dress)...which almost didn't happen because her sister & mother are assholes.  Yes that's right, assholes.  I know as well as the next guy that your family & friends don't always make the best choices but if the choice isn't affecting their health you have to let them make it & Cynthia's mom & sister were actually holding her marriage certificate hostage because Cynthia was making a mistake. Well, that's what divorce is for.  I mean come on, if she wants to get married to this guy & it's an hour before the ceremony it's a little late to try to stop the wedding isn't it?  Now I know they were on a budget but the thing is that the budget didn't show up until a week before the wedding when they closed the restaurant but certainly by that time most everything would have already had to have been paid for.  I don't know a single venue, florist, caterer that wouldn't require that all monies be paid before the day of the wedding, shit usually has to be paid at least 30 days out.  So, where were the flowers?  I'm sure they had already been made & at least had a deposit paid so some of the flowers should have been there.  Where was the music?  The entire ceremony was quiet & that's just ridiculous...didn't someone have an iPod to play music through? 

Kim brought her own wine to the wedding, really?  She honestly thought it would be kept for her too & oops, it wasn't.  That is so freaking tacky, I would only bring alcohol if they weren't serving any.  You know what else was tacky?  Her tits & the fact that every single person who saw her reached right out & pulled up her dress to cover her nips!  Kim also acted like she had no clue what Kandi was talking about when she talked to her about saying something to Kandi's manager about getting paid.  Kim is a train wreck but I'm happy she has found a man who thinks she amazing because that's impossible to do for a normal girl like me let alone a one hit wonder single mother of 2 who looks 10 years older than she is!

Now there's really not much to say about Phaedra or Nene & Sheree needs more acting classes, she's an overactor.  She auditions for movies the way someone would a play, and they are 2 totally different mediums but I still can't figure out why the hell they gave her the part...I guess nobody else tried out?  Well, tune in on Feb 13th for the first part of the reunion show & I'm sure it will be a good one as always & then if you need a Nene fix you can watch her on Celebrity Apprentice!!

I wonder waht happened to Deshawn?  She was so nice I'm not surprised she left after the first season.

Michael Scott meets David Brent

Will Ferrell to be the new temp on The Office

We all know that Steve Carell is leaving The Office & 4 episodes before the season ends but what we just found out today is that Will Ferrell will be joining the team for 4 episodes...3 of which Steve will still be there for & 1 after he's left.  Ferrell will be playing another inept branch manager sent from home office & in my opinion this could go either way.  Steve Carell plays an idiot well but Ferrell is an over-actor who plays great idiots but a bit too much you know?  The show & network seem to think that adding him to the cast will boost ratings & help cushion the blow of Carell's departure but really, this show needs to end.  Last season was terrible, there was all of 2 funny episodes & so far this season is better but it's still hit or miss & I don't care who they replace Carell with the show has lost its mojo & I don't think any actor could save it at this point.  I always loved the show but I would like to see it end before they grasp for more straws trying to amp it back up & undoubtedly run it right into the ground.

A new season of Archer starts tonight!!

CW has 2 shows that are firing back up tonight starting with The Vampire Diaries at 8:00 and then Nikita at 9:00.  At 10:00 after the CW kiddies have gone to bed it's time for the new season of Archer on FX at 10:00!! 
 

Being Erica is back!!!

Tonight on SOAPnet one of my favorite shows returns, Being Erica airs at 11 PM.  For those of you who watch this show on CBC this would be the same season you are watching now, us Americans are just a little behind & don't believe the commercials when they say "SOAPnet original" because it's a CBC original.
 

Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?

God help us all...Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? premieres tonight at 9:00 on We TV but don't worry, there is other TV on tonight too!!

8:00 on CW One Tree Hill is back followed by the return of Hellcats at 9:00 also on CW.  Tonight on Bravo! at 10:00 tune in for the season finale of The Fashion Show: Ultimate Collection & I'm rooting for anyone but Calvin, go team not Calvin!!
 

Finally!!

Gossip Girl is finally back tonight at 9 on CW but before that at 8 is the return of 90210 which I can't believe hasn't been canceled yet...I gave it up before it returned last season.  Just wanted to point out the fact that a Beverly Hills 90210 season costs about $40 while a 90210 season only costs about $25...shouldn't that tell you something?
 

Onion News Network premieres tonight on IFC!!

There's a new season of Kitchen Nightmares starting tonight on FOX at 8:00 and then after that at 9:00 Fringe kicks back in action.

At 10:00 it's time to move over to cable for either Onion News Network on IFC or Spartacus: Gods of the Arena on Starz.

Hot in Cleveland is back!!

Tonight at 8:00 tune in to FOX for the new season of American Idol (please let this be the last) and then at 10:00 head on over to TV Land for the new season of Hot in Cleveland or Blue Bloods on CBS.  After all of that excitement a new show called "Retired at 35" premieres at 10:30 on TV Land.

ABC sucks!

So last week when the President gave his speech about the horrific events in Tucson the TV shows got all jacked up & Modern Family started late & then Cougar Town wasn't on at all.  Apparently ABC must have freaked out & just started cutting shows left & right because I just sat down to watch Private Practice & it's freaking Off the Map...again!  I then decide I'm going to go online to watch my shows (Cougar Town & Private Practice) since ABC doesn't have an OnDemand channel and I notice that they show that the most recent episode of Cougar Town that was shown was the one on last week so they appear to have rescheduled last weeks for this coming week.  I decide I'll check out Private Practice instead & they give the rundown on the episode that was supposed to be on Thursday but it's not available online yet...WTF?  They don't make it very easy to watch their shows & I think that is BS...thanks for nothing ABC!
