Margene & Ben?

That kiss was no big shocker to me, I don't know about you guys but I've been waiting since day one to see this go down.  The sexual tension between the two of them has been thick as hell since episode one!  What I thought was dumb was the fact that the network lady actually thought that he was Margene's husband.  Ben is obviously young, he doesn't wear a wedding ring, and the kiss was not sexy...he could have been Margie's gay friend or something; all she did was kiss him on the lips & the kiss was slightly longer than your standard peck to your mom.  When they showed him during the show & claimed he was her husband the look on Barb's face was priceless but I don't know why she looked so shocked especially as "tight" as she is she would have known it was a isn't like they showed the kiss.  If I were Margie I'd be pissed at that woman, come on what kind of boss is going to claim someone is your husband without ever being introduced to them?  That whole debacle was just a little too Three's Company for me.

Joey digging up Roman's body was disgusting, Nicky's daughter is just annoying me, Nicky actually is really annoying me...there is no way she would have even been able to get into that building with a gun in her purse!

How long was Teeny away at camp?  Apparently long enough to be played by an older actor who looks nothing like the original girl that played her.  I don't have a major issue with them replacing the actor since Teeny wasn't on the show much but they could have replaced her with another girl who is near the same age...this is getting like General Hospital, you miss 2 episodes and the kid that was born last week is now getting married!  According to the HBO site (last season) Teeny is 8 or 9 when in reality the first girl who played her (Jolean Wejbe) was 11 but the new girl playing her (Bella Thorne, no age noted on HBO site) is 13 in real life so how is she supposed to be 9 or 10?  She's going to be getting boobs any day so I'm curious to see if maybe they have a b-day party for her & suddenly make her like 12 or if they just tape em down for the time being.

I think Bill running for office is really dumb, come on he owns numerous Home Plus stores,  just opened a casino, has 3 wives & 7 or 8 kids but he's got time to run for political office, as if!  I am happy that it brought Sissy Spacek to the show though!!  Oh yeah, JJ creeps me out, the guy who plays him is actually the one that creeps me out & has on every single show I've ever seen him on.

Damages is back...and so is other stuff

Well tonight we have 2 of my favorite shows coming back & a new one that seems funny but could be awful so I’ll have to watch & see for myself.  I’m a little irritated that my usual Monday shows are all on reruns & I think I’m more bothered by the fact that they only came back for what 1 or 2 weeks & are back on reruns…why bother teasing me with new eps?  Anyway, it’s going to be a long night waiting for shows to start at 10 so I guess I’ll have no excuse not to hit up the Wii Fit &maybe even some DJ Hero too!

10:00 Damages season 3 begins on FX & I’m super excited since the new season includes some more amazing actors that have been added to the cast such as Lily Tomlin & Campbell Scott.

10:00 Secret Diary of a Call Girl season 3 also I believe begins on Showtime & I’m looking forward to this one too but of course since it competes with Damages I’ll likely not catch it until tomorrow unless I can stay awake since it is only a half hour.

10:00 Greek is on ABC Family & I don’t watch it & honestly thought it had been canceled but I guess not.

10:30 Tracey Ullman, State of the Union on Showtime

11:00 La La Land on Showtime…this is the show that could either be hysterical or really stupid, the post photo is from this show so you decide for yourself & once I get around to watching it I'll report on my thoughts as well.  Here is the shows description from "Award-winning British comedy sensation Marc Wootton stars in the new series about three wannabes struggling to find fame and fortune in Los Angeles."

Conan's Final Episode

Well kids it looks like tonight will be the last episode of The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien & even though I don't watch it very often I really like Conan & I think he totally got the shaft (and maybe even the balls too) on this one!  Sure he's getting a pretty hefty settlement but he can't take any of his characters with him which sucks too because wherever he lands he won't have Triumph the Insult Comic Dog with him, boo.  I made sure to DVR tonight's final episode which has the great guests of Tom Hanks, Will Ferrell, and Neil Young.  Now I loved Conan on Late Night & think Jimmy Fallon is the worst possible replacement but I definitely agree that putting Jay on at 10 was the biggest mistake NBC ever made.  Jay should have been given a weekly show rather than a nightly show & I think it's totally unfair that Jay is being treated like some TV God when he's not even that funny!  Why couldn't they have just canceled Jay's show when it started tanking...what makes him so much better than the other canceled stars that NBC wants to do whatever they can to keep him on the network?  NBC must be run by baby boomers & older because my generation doesn't find Leno funny, we like Conan & want to see him back on TV ASAP!  Apparently he can be back on TV in September according to the separation agreement with NBC so I can't wait to see where he lands...FOX is rumored to be the likely choice.  After all of this happened I really think they should have taken the Tonight Show off the air since they completely ruined it & then given Jay Leno a brand new show because most of the people I know plan on boycotting The Tonight Show with Jay Leno part deux.  Then again none of us watched the first round...if I'm watching that type of show I'm watching Letterman, Leno can suck it!  If you are a Leno fan though he will be back in March, after tonight NBC will run Conan reruns until the Olympics start & once they are done Jay will be back.

I'm with Coco!!

Wednesday's return

Hey guys, sorry I missed almost a week of premieres & returns but I'm back now!  Tonight we only have one season premiere & that is Being Erica on SOAPnet at 10 pm.  Being Erica is a really good Canadian show & the new season already started on CBC but is coming to SOAPnet tonight.  I watched the first season of this one & it was really good, a great idea for a show...a girl (Erica) who meets a therapist (Tom) that sends her back in time to right some wrongs & occasionally into the future to see how some of those decisions will change her life forever.  This new season looks very promising as Erica meets someone else who does what she does & I can't wait to see the repercussions of her stopping her brothers death which is against the rules!

Save Ted!

One of the best shows on television Better Off Ted is on the verge of being canceled & it has to be stopped!  Come & sign the petition...right now!  They are also trying to get the show moved to Wednesdays which I agree would be awesome but I also say let's not push it, keeping the show on the air would be enough for me!

Tuesday's Premiere's & Returns

Well today we have 2 shows & I don't watch either one so it looks like I'll have no excuse to not work out & I'll likely rent a movie tonight!

At 8:00 on FOX we have the return of American Idol and the only good thing about that is that Ellen is joining as a judge this year!  I love Ellen so I may just have to tune in on occasion although I didn't see her in the previews for tonight (the try outs) and usually these are the only episodes I watch.  There is just something about delusional people making fools of themselves that I enjoy.

At 10:00 on TNT is the return of Southland

Big Love...Big Season

Well the 4th season opener was creepy to say the least & it started when Nicki found her father, The Prophet, Roman Grant in the family walk in freezer in her mom's basement.  Mom found Roman dead and didn't know what to do with him so she put him there for safe keeping.  Now, mom thinks he just dropped dead while he was playing his music but we all know that he was suffocated to death by a pillow at the hands of Joey Henrickson, Bill's brother.  After Nicki's startling discovery she told her brother Albie about the dead body & he took it upon himself to drop his frozen father off at the site of the new casino that was about to be opened by Bill & the Indians.  Once Roman was found Bill proceeded to take him back to the compound with Nicki in tow & return him to his wives.

Now while all of this was going on Lois is still in hiding & is acquiring exotic parrots from the "flea markets" and selling them to pet stores & making a decent living.  Of course Frank found Lois & tried to kill her as usual but they were able to make an agreement...her freedom for a cut of her profits with the birds.  On a side note, Ben is the one who is running the birds since Lois was so afraid to leave for fear that Frank would find her.

Speaking of Ben...he's in a God band & they apparently got a gig to play at the school dance which he was very geeked about.  Well, the Henrickson's big day "casino opening" was upon them & Mr. Kenny Rogers who was supposed to perform wasn't able to make it due to a canceled flight so Ben's band ended up filling in.  The opening of the casino was great, everything went smoothly & the future of Mormon gambling (currently inside tents) is now in the hands of the Henricksons & the Indians.  All of the wives were involved in getting this casino up and running, and though Marge has lots on her plate she agreed to make her top priority selling her jewelry on an HSN type channel so she had to cleverly figure out how to pawn all of her work off to Barb.

On top of all of this The family & their close friends have started their own church since Barb was stricken from their former one, Sarah (Barb & Bill's daughter) is thinking of leaving the faith altogether as her fiance is not Mormon & they are getting married soon.  Nicki is still in hot water with the family but got her daughter placed in high school & she will be staying with Nicki & family during the week & with her father (who totally creeps me out) on the weekends.  I'm sure I missed something but you get the gist so make sure you tune in for the rest of the season to see how all of this unfolds!
