That Mobbed show on FOX hosted by Howie Mandel returns tonight at 9 but I won't be watching that because I'll be watching The Office & Michael Scott's last day & I just watched the preview (below) and was already practically in tears! I never thought a show like The Office or someone as dumb as Michael Scott would make me cry but I can pretty much guarantee you that I will. Tonight's special episode is extended & will air from 9 to 9:52 followed by a brand new episode of Parks & Recreation that I'm sure will get me back to laughing rather than crying though I do often laugh so hard I start to cry when watching. Anyway, check out the preview below for Goodbye, Michael.

Ready to dump Gossip Girl
OK so I posted recently how I planned to get rid of Brothers & Sisters after this season ends (which I believe is this or next week, yay) and now I'm ready to dump Gossip Girl too. I don't know what is with this show but it's turning into Brothers & Sisters...it's like the same story line keeps repeating itself & the scheming of Blair is beyond redundant. These kids are all supposed to be in college yet they only go to class when it's convenient for the story line, as much of a detail whore as Blair is she has hideous eyebrows that clearly need to be shaped, the constant trading of partners & spouses is just plain gross & to top it off I'm always confused. They cross too many story lines at once, they track back to stories from 2 seasons ago that I had completely forgotten about & a lot of the fashion is completely ridiculous & inappropriate for the scenarios they put them in. I don't really think I need to watch anymore because I know what's going to happen...Blair & Chuck will end up together, Serena & Dan will end up together even though they are step siblings & Gossip Girl will continue to talk about them all, oh the cliff hanger!

The Voice
Tonight is the premiere of the new series The Voice which is another "American Idol" type of show but not quite as it has 4 singers (Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo, Adam Levine & Blake Shelton) who listen to the contestants sing without looking at them & then other than that I don't really know the premise so I suppose I'll have to tune in to check it out plus I'm a Cee Lo fan & Adam is nice to look at!!

Audrina
So, Audrina Patridge has her own show creatively called Audrina starting Tonight at 9 on VH1...I won't be watching, well who am I kidding I'll watch reruns but I guess this is supposed to be about Audrina & her family, not a remake of The Hills. If it were a remake of The Hills then I'd be sure to watch it!!

Brothers & Sisters sucks!
Why is this show still on? More importantly, why in the hell am I still watching it? I'm watching last night's episode right now & it seems like the usual...some story to tug at your heartstrings & then some fights & then some meddling & then a happy ending. I'm always happy when it ends I know but I'm beginning to think that the world in general would be better if the series ended completely. The first couple seasons were great but I'm over it I think...no, I know that this will be the last season for me!!

I'm glad I skipped my Thursday plans...lots of TV tonight!!
The new season of America's Best Dance Crew returns tonight at 10 on MTV & also up at 10 is the new season of Real Housewives of New York on Bravo which I'm really looking forward to though I'm not so sure about having the new brunette housewife & Sonja...it seems like it might be a kind of crowded cast, especially when you include the teeth of the new girl "Cindy".
Also up tonight is the return of Secret Diary of a Call Girl for its 3rd & I'm pretty sure final season on Showtime at 10:30 followed by the new reality show Gigolos at 11 which is about just that...a group of guys who work as escorts in Las Vegas & honestly, I wouldn't pay any one of them for sex or fun or anything else...they just aren't attractive. Well, Jimmy isn't too bad but he looks like a cross between James Van Der Beek & this guy I dated for a couple weeks back in high school.

Busy night for TV...though I wish the sitcoms were new!!
Tonight at 9:30 on FOX we have Breaking In premiering & also premiering at 10:30 on Comedy Central is Workaholics. At 11:00 head on over to Bravo! for the new season of Top Chef Masters hosted by Curtis Stone. If you are a Top Chef fan make sure to tune in to Bravo! at 10:00 for the Top Chef All-Stars reunion which I hear is quite intense & I can't wait...you know, if you are watching something else then you should probably record this.
30 Rock to begin its final season
Alec Baldwin was at a gala for the National Dance Institute in New York the other night & he had this to say about 30 Rock: "I will tell you one thing," and that is our show next year is our last year of the show." How sad is that? I love 30 Rock & I just started watching it 2 years ago so perhaps that's why I feel a bit cheated here...sure it's going to run 6 seasons which isn't a small amount but considering that I watched the first 3 seasons back to back on DVD I feel like the series just started. Apparently their contracts expire in 2012 & Tina Fey is going to move on to bigger but likely not better things in writing & directing...not to say that she won't do great but come on, hardly anything can be better than 30 Rock!
So next year will be our last fling with Liz, Jack, Jenna, Tracy, Kenneth & the rest of the goofy gang & I will be sad to see them go but all good things must come to an end at some point.

Pregnant in Heels...no thanks!
Tonight the series premiere of Pregnant in Heels airs at 10:00 on Bravo! This show (IMHO) is about pregnant women who have too much money & decide to give it to this woman (Rosie Pope) to teach them how to be moms & help them dress right. I highly doubt I'll be watching this show (I might tune in just to see if Rosie is pregnant or the dress she's wearing in the promos is unflattering), perhaps on reruns but I don't really care much for accents & Rosie has one of those "I was born in England but have been here long enough that my accent is half assed" & that bothers me even more than a full on English accent. I also don't care for babies which are the entire theme of the show & from the commercials I've seen I don't care for the rich bitches on this show who are carrying them either! This whole concept seems like something the obnoxious Camille Grammer with her 4 nannies would buy into...spend all of this money to find out how to become an awesome mom & do all of these things for your baby when in the end the nanny does all of that stuff & mom just enjoys spending time with their child.

The Kennedy's - full schedule
The Kennedys started last night on Reelz & so far, so good. I think Greg Kinnear was a great choice as Jack & Barry Pepper seems to be fitting into his role as Bobby pretty well also but I'm still a bit uncertain about Katie Holmes as Jackie. Not that she's bad at the role, I just find that I see a lot of Katie in the role where with the others I see the character not the actor but we are only 2 parts in so I assume it will develop more as the story unfolds, especially since the first 2 parts were much more about Jack & his life & family than his marriage to Jackie so her moments in it were short.
I know it was always so commonplace for men to cheat back then but watching a man kiss his secretary right in front of his wife & her not say a word was a little crazy to me. I'm sure having all of the perks & financial security of being a Kennedy was a major bargaining point back then, as we saw Jack's dad try to buy Jackie off for a cool Million to stay married to Jack, but even so I don't know that I would have been able to put up with the infidelity like Jack's mother & Jackie did. No amount of money is worth being made a fool of so I cannot wait until we get to the whole Marilyn saga & see just how much of a fool Jackie looks like to the American people. I was not alive at this time so everything I've heard could be askew but I will soon find out as this Kennedy's miniseries unfolds. See below for channels & air times & don't miss the next 7 episodes!

I do need to thank this miniseries for introducing me to the Reelz channel as well. I don't know when we received it through my cable company, I know it wasn't there when I signed up for my service 3 years ago but when I saw this miniseries coming I checked & sure enough Reelz was in my lineup (along with Reelz HD) which made me so very happy! During the commercials which I of course fast forwarded through I learned a lot about the channel & the fact that they do show a lot of programming that I like...sure, they show programs I wish had never been on ever but that's personal preference because a lot of people loved them. For example, you can tune in daily to watch shows like Cheers, Becker, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Ally McBeal, Brothers & Sisters...etc. They have original shows that discuss movies, they show movies, and their tag line is "TV about movies" & I love both TV & Movies so I added this channel to my favorites!
- Tuesday (4/5) Episode 3 Premiere
- Wednesday (4/6) Episode 4 Premiere
- Thursday (4/7) Episode 5 Premiere
- Friday (4/8) Episode 6 Premiere
- Saturday (4/9) The Kennedys Marathon (catch up on what you missed)
- Sunday (4/10) 2-Hour Movie Event Finale
