I'm addicted to Revenge!
Have you guys checked out Revenge? If not, you should...it's so good but probably more intriguing for the ladies given all the drama between the women on the show. I was just reading on TV By the Numbers that it looks like the show will get picked up for another season & I'm not surprised. My aunt suggested it to me & while I was house sitting a few weeks ago there wasn't anything on & I noticed that the cable service of the home I was in offered ABC OnDemand (unlike my cable company) so I fired up the first episode of Revenge & about half way in I was hooked. The show stars Emily VanCamp (from Brothers & Sisters) Madeleine Stowe, Amber Valetta & a slew of others & basically Emily VanCamp has returned to the Hamptons to seek revenge, revenge for things that happened to her father throughout most of her life, the part of her life where she wasn't able to see or speak to her father.

Beavis & Butthead, Cold in the D!
This is freaking priceless...we (Detroiters) all know the "It's So Cold in the D" YouTube video & I heard about this promo for the new season of Beavis & Butthead (starts a week from today) this morning on 89X so I had to share! This clip is like 3 of my favorite things all rolled into one...Detroit, Beavis & Butthead, & Real Housewives. I know, I know, the clip is terrible but you get the point. Enjoy!!

Man Up!
A new comedy series is premiering tonight on ABC at 8:30 & it looks pretty funny. It has a cast of a few familiar faces like Dan Fogler (Take Me Home Tonight), Teri Polo (Focker movies), Mather Zickel (The Cape) and Amanda Detmer (What About Brian). Here's the description of the show direct from ABC's website.
"A virile new comedy that follows the struggles of three modern male archetypes as they search for their identities and try to prove that "real men" really can use hazelnut creamer."

Giuliana Rancic has Breast Cancer
Giuliana Rancic was on the Today Show this morning & revealed that she recently discovered that she's in the early stages of breast cancer. While having some testing done before her & her husband Bill Rancic's third attempt at IVF it was suggested she have a mammogram just to be on the safe side & thankfully she did because that's how it was caught. Giuliana is expected to make a fast recovery after her lumpectomy & 6 weeks of radiation & yes, once everything is all over the couple plan to move forward with the IVF attempt. Her doctor did approve the egg retrieval they were prepared for so it sounds to me like this attempt was a blessing because without it who knows how long it could have gone without detection. No word if any of this will be documented for their reality series Giuliana & Bill on Style but I wish them the best of luck in both endeavors.

Once Upon a stupid idea for a TV show...
I don't know about you guys but I've been seeing the nonstop commercials for this new show that starts next Sunday the 23rd at 8 on ABC & it looks so stupid. They have a wonderful cast starring Jennifer Morrison & one of my faves, Ginnifer Goodwin but I still don't think the cast will be enough to carry this show. They have been hyping it up so much & usually when a network is doing that it's because the show needs the hype & I think that will be the case here. Here's ABC's description of the show direct from their site:
And they all lived happily ever after – or so everyone was led to believe. Emma Swan knows how to take care of herself. She's a 28-year-old bail bonds collector who's been on her own ever since she was abandoned as a baby. But when the son she gave up years ago finds her, everything starts to change. Henry is now 10 years old and in desperate need of Emma's help. He believes that Emma actually comes from an alternate world and is Snow White and Prince Charming's missing daughter. According to his book of fairytales, they sent her away to protect her from the Evil Queen's curse, which trapped the fairytale world forever, frozen in time, and brought them into our modern world. Of course Emma doesn't believe a word, but when she brings Henry back to Storybrooke, she finds herself drawn to this unusual boy and his strange New England town. Concerned for Henry, she decides to stay for a while, but she soon suspects that Storybrooke is more than it seems. It's a place where magic has been forgotten, but is still powerfully close… where fairytale characters are alive, even though they don't remember who they once were. The epic battle for the future of all worlds is beginning, but for good to win, Emma will have to accept her destiny and fight like hell.
That doesn't sound stupid at all...don't worry, I'm totally kidding, it sounds ridiculously terrible! Below is the trailer for the show if you want to check it out. It seems more like a TV movie or miniseries, or a show for ABC Family but Sunday nights on ABC...I don't think it's worthy of all that.

Nerd post! I'm comparing my iPod to my Droid
So...I've had my Droid for a few weeks now & I like it but there are plenty of cons to this damn thing. First of all, it's HUGE & that bugs me, it takes up 1/2 of my cute handbags when I go out which leaves no room for other essentials like a compact. It's reminiscent of the days when I was a smoker & couldn't fit my smokes & lighter in with everything else. Attempting to hold it on my shoulder to talk while doing something else is pretty much impossible due to the heft of the phone. It takes too damn long to charge, like 1/5 to 2 hours...I can't imagine how long it will take a year from now! I can't find what I'm looking for most of the time, every time I try to edit my contacts my phone freezes & every single contact I have is in my phone twice which bugs the shit out of me especially since I can't edit the duplicates out. When I am able to edit a contact the edits don't save & for some stupid reason all of my Facebook friends have migrated into my phone book...like I give 2 shits about their contact information? The phone freezes up often, just like a computer & that is also extremely annoying. My last & biggest complaint is that I can't grab screen shots with the phone without having some sort of app...seriously? I also don't like the fact that you can only "wake" the phone via the power or sound buttons, touching the screen gets you nowhere. I'm sure you are reading this & thinking "why did you get it, what DO you like about it" and that answer is simple & quick...the keyboard & flash.

Let the Cancellations Begin!
The Playboy Club is the first show to be cancelled...I thought I had gotten sucked in on episode 2 but forgot about episode 3 so perhaps it was my cold making me think I enjoyed it. Regardless I don't have to waste an hour watching episode 3 On Demand now, woot!!
Here is a list of shows that are hanging by a thread & likely not to make it to next season:
ABC - Charlie's Angels, Body of Proof
CBS - A Gifted Man, How to be a Gentleman
CW - Shows are teetering in the wake of the network's former chief's spring departure
FOX - Fringe is the only show that is currently a toss up but still stands a chance
NBC - Free Agents, Harry's Law

DEXTER!!!!
I am so damn excited that Dexter is finally back...when the season ends I always think "how will I make it 9 months" & here it is, 9 months later & it seems like the last season just ended, granted I can't remember how it ended but that's beside the point. I cannot wait to tune in for the 6th season premiere of Dexter tonight at 9 on Showtime!
The other shows that are also on tonight are as follows:
7:00 - America's Funniest Home Videos, ABC
8:00 - Little People Big World special, TLC; Tough Love, VH1
9:00 - Big Rich Texas (finale), Style
10:00 - Homeland, Showtime; Hung, HBO
10:30 - How to Make it in America, HBO
