Gasland 2 premieres tonight on HBO

Tonight at 9:00 from HBO Docs it's the follow up to the Oscar nominated documentary from Josh Fox, it's Gasland Part II which shows how the stakes have been raised in all aspects of the spectrum of the gas industry.  "The film argues that the gas industry's portrayal of natural gas as a clean and safe alternative to oil is a myth, and that fracked wells inevitably leak over time, contaminating water and air, hurting families, and endangering the earth's climate with the potent greenhouse gas, methane."  The documentary originally premiered at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival.  I don't want to give too much away but some people, stories & topics from Gasland will be revisisted while some new information will be uncovered as well.

Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls premieres tonight

Tonight at 8:30 on BBCA it's the 20th season premiere of Top Gear and then at 9:00 on SyFy it's the 1st season finale of Defiance, NBC has the series premiere of Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls and on HBO it's the 125 minute special Gasland Part II.

On BBCA at 10:00 it's the series premiere of Dangerman, History has the series premiere of God, Guns & Automobiles, VH1 has the 2nd season premiere of Hollywood Exes, TruTV has the 3rd season summer premiere of Lizard Lick Towing and on SyFy it's the 4th season finale of Warehouse 13.  On TruTV at 10:30 it's the series premiere of Kentucky Bidders.
