Alec Baldwin was at a gala for the National Dance Institute in New York the other night & he had this to say about 30 Rock
: "I will tell you one thing," and that is our show next year is our last year of the show." How sad is that? I love 30 Rock & I just started watching it 2 years ago so perhaps that's why I feel a bit cheated here...sure it's going to run 6 seasons which isn't a small amount but considering that I watched the first 3 seasons back to back on DVD I feel like the series just started. Apparently their contracts expire in 2012 & Tina Fey is going to move on to bigger but likely not better things in writing & directing...not to say that she won't do great but come on, hardly anything can be better than 30 Rock!
