Nerd post! I'm comparing my iPod to my Droid

So...I've had my Droid for a few weeks now & I like it but there are plenty of cons to this damn thing.  First of all, it's HUGE & that bugs me, it takes up 1/2 of my cute handbags when I go out which leaves no room for other essentials like a compact.  It's reminiscent of the days when I was a smoker & couldn't fit my smokes & lighter in with everything else. Attempting to hold it on my shoulder to talk while doing something else is pretty much impossible due to the heft of the phone.  It takes too damn long to charge, like 1/5 to 2 hours...I can't imagine how long it will take a year from now!  I can't find what I'm looking for most of the time, every time I try to edit my contacts my phone freezes & every single contact I have is in my phone twice which bugs the shit out of me especially since I can't edit the duplicates out.  When I am able to edit a contact the edits don't save & for some stupid reason all of my Facebook friends have migrated into my phone book...like I give 2 shits about their contact information?  The phone freezes up often, just like a computer & that is also extremely annoying.  My last & biggest complaint is that I can't grab screen shots with the phone without having some sort of app...seriously?  I also don't like the fact that you can only "wake" the phone via the power or sound buttons, touching the screen gets you nowhere.  I'm sure you are reading this & thinking "why did you get it, what DO you like about it" and that answer is simple & quick...the keyboard & flash.

If there's one thing I loathe about my iPod (which is an iPhone without a phone) it's the obnoxious touch screen keyboard, I hate using it, I misspell everything which causes my emails & posts to have to be retyped repeatedly before they are right.  The suggested words the pod gives me are never the words I'm looking for & if you'll notice when you follow BestAutocorrect on Twitter I'm not the only one!!  Other than that though the apps are easy to access, the pod is small & lightweight, the internet is fast, I can grab screenshots of anything easily...if Apple made an iPhone with a keyboard I'd switch over to that thing when this beast is ready to be turned in.  I do have 2 years though so who knows...maybe there will be one by then!
