Tuesday's Premiere's & Returns

Well today we have 2 shows & I don't watch either one so it looks like I'll have no excuse to not work out & I'll likely rent a movie tonight!

At 8:00 on FOX we have the return of American Idol and the only good thing about that is that Ellen is joining as a judge this year!  I love Ellen so I may just have to tune in on occasion although I didn't see her in the previews for tonight (the try outs) and usually these are the only episodes I watch.  There is just something about delusional people making fools of themselves that I enjoy.

At 10:00 on TNT is the return of Southland

Big Love...Big Season

Well the 4th season opener was creepy to say the least & it started when Nicki found her father, The Prophet, Roman Grant in the family walk in freezer in her mom's basement.  Mom found Roman dead and didn't know what to do with him so she put him there for safe keeping.  Now, mom thinks he just dropped dead while he was playing his music but we all know that he was suffocated to death by a pillow at the hands of Joey Henrickson, Bill's brother.  After Nicki's startling discovery she told her brother Albie about the dead body & he took it upon himself to drop his frozen father off at the site of the new casino that was about to be opened by Bill & the Indians.  Once Roman was found Bill proceeded to take him back to the compound with Nicki in tow & return him to his wives.

Now while all of this was going on Lois is still in hiding & is acquiring exotic parrots from the "flea markets" and selling them to pet stores & making a decent living.  Of course Frank found Lois & tried to kill her as usual but they were able to make an agreement...her freedom for a cut of her profits with the birds.  On a side note, Ben is the one who is running the birds since Lois was so afraid to leave for fear that Frank would find her.

Speaking of Ben...he's in a God band & they apparently got a gig to play at the school dance which he was very geeked about.  Well, the Henrickson's big day "casino opening" was upon them & Mr. Kenny Rogers who was supposed to perform wasn't able to make it due to a canceled flight so Ben's band ended up filling in.  The opening of the casino was great, everything went smoothly & the future of Mormon gambling (currently inside tents) is now in the hands of the Henricksons & the Indians.  All of the wives were involved in getting this casino up and running, and though Marge has lots on her plate she agreed to make her top priority selling her jewelry on an HSN type channel so she had to cleverly figure out how to pawn all of her work off to Barb.

On top of all of this The family & their close friends have started their own church since Barb was stricken from their former one, Sarah (Barb & Bill's daughter) is thinking of leaving the faith altogether as her fiance is not Mormon & they are getting married soon.  Nicki is still in hot water with the family but got her daughter placed in high school & she will be staying with Nicki & family during the week & with her father (who totally creeps me out) on the weekends.  I'm sure I missed something but you get the gist so make sure you tune in for the rest of the season to see how all of this unfolds!
