Californication finale

Ah yes, Hank Moody...the truth comes out!  After 3 seasons of being a total man whore the truth about him sleeping with Mia & stealing her book finally reared its head.  The episode started with Hank, Karen, and Becca preparing to move to New York and of course Mia showed up just in time to wish them a happy farewell.  Mia was in town for a book signing and she invited the Moody clan to her party and they all went even though Hank was totally against it.  Mia's manager/boyfriend confronted Hank & told him that he knew that Mia didn't write the book and that he in fact did.  Hank did everything he could to prevent this news from getting out even though the manager really wanted to spin the story & let the cat out of the bag so Mia could write a tell all & Hank could have his book back.

The next morning Hank was in a funk so Karen had Becca take him for a walk at which point she informed her dad that she had lost her virginity to a nice boy a couple nights before.  Hank surprisingly took the news fairly well & told Becca to wait until they got to New York to tell her mother.  After that Hank went to talk to Mia about not releasing the truth & ended up getting in a huge fight with the manager guy who called the cops on him.  When Hank got home from the fight he told Karen the truth about Mia & the book & she didn't take the news well and ran out, Hank ran out after her and was apprehended by the cops & taken away. 

Oh yeah, amidst all of this Charlie told Marcy that he wanted to have a baby with her & he was very happy that their relationship was getting back on track, or so he thought.  Charlie agreed to be Sue's agent & to market her memoirs though he turned down her offer to continue sleeping together because he was so in love with Marcy.  Well, none of that paid off because Marcy still signed the divorce papers & asked that Charlie do the same.  This season wrapped up with Charlie being baffled and Hank being arrested so I can't wait to see what will happen in season 4 but I'm going to assume that Karen & Becca will still move to New York and leave Hank to rot in his own indiscretions until further notice.  I can certainly foresee Hank & Charlie being 2 broke down bachelors on the prowl but both still secretly pining for Karen & Marcy.
