HBO documentaries has two premieres this week



Tonight at 9:00 on HBO it's the premiere of Miss You Can Do It which showcases the work that Abbey Curran, Miss Iowa 2008 has been doing with her pageant of the same name.  The Miss You Can Do It pageant gives girls with special needs an opportunity to have a moment in the spotlight like Curran who struggled to be the first woman with disabilities to compete in the Miss USA pageant.  The documentary follows 8 young ladies with physical and mental disabilities as they prepare to take part in the Miss You Can Do It pageant.  For more about it check out the trailer below.



Thursday on HBO at 9:30 to mark LGBT pride month it's The Out List which shares first hand accounts covering all kinds of topics from politics to marriage equality & family.  The Out List is both funny and poignant featuring people across various industries from entertainment to public service roles.  Hear from Neil Patrick Harris, Ellen DeGeneres, Wade Davis, Wanda Sykes, Suze Orman and more as they share personal stories from childhood, sexuality, their careers & the challenges that still face them & the LGBT community today.  Check out the trailer for this below.
