Push Girls season finale tonight

Tonight at 8:00 on Reelz it's the miniseries premiere of Cat. 8 and then at 9:00 over on CW it's the 2nd season premiere of Breaking Pointe, on Lifetime it's a special episode of Dance Moms, HBO has the special The Cheshire Murders and on Military it's the special Presidents on the Brink: Nixon.

At 10:00 on Military it's the special Presidents on the Brink: Clinton and on Lifetime it's the series premiere of Supermarket Superstar and then at 10:30 on Sundance it's the 2nd season of Push Girls.  I'd personally like to ask Sundance to make the seasons of this show longer or offer multiple seasons a year because 6 weeks just isn't enough of these amazing women!!

My DVR is going to be on fire tonight!

It appears that Monday must be my busy night for TV this season...at least so far anyway because Sunday is going to pick up once Big Brother & Breaking Bad start!

Some people think I'm crazy for the amount of TV that I watch but now that I'm doing this full time isn't it technically my job?  I'm going to say yes!  Well, actually it's more of a volunteer position at the moment because I'm not making any money doing this, I just do it for the joy of TV.

Anyway, here's what I'll be watching if you want to tweet @DVRSlave or message me to discuss any of it on here.

Push Girls...I watched it

So I checked out the series premiere of Push Girls on Sundance earlier in the week & I ended up adding it as a series recording.  The show felt very much like The Real L Word which airs on Showtime but it's about girls in wheelchairs rather than lesbians.

There are 4 girls that the show is focusing on, first up is Tiphany who is blonde & very pretty is also sexually open...she had/has a boyfriend but she is also dating a woman.  I cannot recall what Tiphany does for a living or if that was even discussed yet but she is in a wheelchair because of a car accident that she had when she was younger.  She seems like a firecracker, she's outspoken & works out & all in all seems like a lot of fun to hang out with.  I really should have more information but I'm writing from the road today & left my notes at home so please bear with me.

Tiphany has a roommate, Angela who is a model & is in the chair because of a terrible accident that made her a quadriplegic where the other girls are all paraplegic so Angela has limited use of her arms & little dexterity with her hands so she needs assistance & her aunt is currently helping her out at home.  Angela is currently trying to get back into modeling & was having some head shots done in the opening episodes & she was also dealing with her husband who is the Asian guy from 21 Jump Street...the TV show.  He might be her ex-husband now but I can't say for sure...again, it's in my notes.  I do know that she needs to make money to pay for help & rent so she wanted to get back into modeling which she had done before & was wonderful at it...she's tall & thin & very exotic looking & she photographs really well.

Next up is Mia who works in an office (not really sure what she does) and at the beginning was dating an able bodied guy who she later broke up with after a year and a half.  Mia is really strong willed & isn't willing to settle for anything in any situation...not work, not men, not anything so it makes her a little hard & closed off which kind of reminds me of me, LOL.  Mia is the only one in a chair because of something other than an accident, she had a spinal embolism or some to that effect when she was a teenager I think...God, I really should remember this but again...it's in my notes.

Last but certainly not least is Auti...she also was in an accident & broke her back in half which put her in the chair.  Auti is a hip-hop dancer & also now a ballroom dancer & in one of the first episodes we get to see her compete in a big ballroom competition & win her category which has nothing to do with wheelchairs.  Auti is married to a hot guy who is really supportive of her & puts up with her stubbornness as well, they are really cute.

All in all this is a great show & since the information I gave you is pretty poor I think you should check Sundance for reruns & start watching the show yourself!

Real Housewives of New York is back!!!

At 8:00 on FOX is the 10th season premiere of Hell's Kitchen and on ABC Family is the 4th season finale of Secret Life of the American Teenager.  Then at 8:30 on BBCA is the 18th season finale of Top Gear.

In the 9:00 slot on ID is the series premiere of Blood, Lies & Alibis & on FOX is the 3rd season premiere of Masterchef.  The best thing that's premiering tonight at 9 is the 5th season premiere of Real Housewives of NY on Bravo with 3 brand new ladies joining the pack to replace Jill, Kelly & Alex.  I will write a review about this of course on The Bravo Breakdown tomorrow.

At 10:00 on Sundance is the series premiere of Push Girls which I wrote a bit about before on the blog, click here to read it.  On NGW is the 2nd season premiere of World's Weirdest & then at 10:30 on History is the 2nd season premiere of Cajun Pawn Stars.

What's on tomorrow, June 4th?

8:00 - Hell's Kitchen on FOX, Secret Life of the American Teenager on ABC Fam.
8:30 - Top Gear, BBCA
9:00 - Blood, Lies & Alibis on ID, Masterchef on FOX, and Real Housewives of NYC on Bravo
10:00 - Push Girls on Sundance, World's Weirdest on NGW

Push Girls & Private Practice

Just wanted to make a note that Private Practice is back with a new episode tonight & will be calling 10:01 home on ABC, Tuesday's now as the new hit Scandal is taking the Thursday 10 spot.

Also in the 10:00 slot on Sundance is the special sneak peek of Push Girls which will premiere June 5th at 10 & this series follows 4 amazing women who all by accident or illness are paralyzed.  The series will shed light on life in a wheelchair the same way the producer showed us the real reality of the lives of the Roloff family on Little People World & the struggles of obesity in today's society with Ruby.  For more about the ladies on the show and the show itself check out the site.
