Tonight at 8:00 on FOX it's the 11th season finale of The X-Files, at 8:30 on ABC it's the 2nd season finale of Speechless and at 8:31 on Freeform it's the 1st season finale of Alone Together.

Up at 9:00 on FOX it's the 1st season finale of 9-1-1 and on Lifetime it's the 7th season premiere of Little Women: LA.

At 10:00 on FX it's the 2nd season finale of American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace, Cooking has the 4th season premiere of Cheap Eats and then on SyFy it's the series premiere of Krypton.

The Amazing Race is back!

Tonight at 8:00 on CBS it's the 30th season premiere of The Amazing Race (God help us, Cody & Jessica from #BB are on this season), NBC has the return of The Blacklist, The Goldbergs are back on ABC, Freeform has the premiere of Grown-ish, TLC has the 6th season premiere of My 600-LB Life and on FOX it's the 11th season premiere of The X-Files.  At 8:30 on ABC it's the return of Speechless and at 8:31 it's another Grown-ish.

Up at 9:00 on FOX it's the series premiere of 9-1-1, NBC has the return of Law & Order, Cooking has the return of Man Fire Food, Modern Family is back on ABC, ID has the 1st season finale of Murder in the Heartland, A&E has a special Ozzy & Jack's World Detour, and on CBS it's the return of Seal Team.  At 9:31 on ABC it's the return of American Housewife.

On CNBC at 10:00 it's the 3rd season premiere of Billion Dollar Buyer, MTV has the 7th season premiere of Catfish, NBC has the return of Chicago PD, CBS has the return of Criminal Minds, ID moves Homicide Hunter to a new time slot, ABC has the 3rd season premiere of Match Game, A&E has the 2nd season finale of Ozzy & Jack's World Detour, TLC has the special Dr. Pimple Popper (are you kidding me?) and E! has the series premiere of WAGS Atlanta.

The 1st season finale of Hot Date is on Pop at 11:00 and on TruTV it's the series premiere of Laff Mobb's Laff Tracks.

X-files mini-series follow up

I loved the 6 episode X-Files treat we had & I'm sure I'm not the only one who can't wait for more.  When these episodes started creating multiple story lines I knew they were setting us up for either another movie or another season.  From what I've read thus far we don't yet know what will come but it's a pretty good outlook for more Mulder/Scully/Einstein/Miller ahead.  I kind of had a feeling that Fox wanted to see what kind of ratings a new season would get before deciding it's fate and personally I would like another season rather than a movie but I will definitely watch it either way!  

Here's what Chris Carter told TV Line & it makes me happy!

"Fox owns this show. I can't imagine, with the ratings that we've got and the way we ended this season, that there won't be more X-Files. They will find a way to get that done. Because I spoke about it briefly with [Fox CEO] Dana Walden today, so there's an appetite there and...a chance certainly to find how we're gonna get ourselves off this precipice."

The X-Files is back!!

Tonight at 8:00 on Smith it's the 2nd season finale of Million Dollar American Princesses.  At 9:00 on AXS TV it's the series premiere of Rock & Roll Road Trip with Sammy Hagar and at 9:30 it's the series premiere of Breaking Band.

Up at 10:00 on E! it's the series premiere of Hollywood Medium and on FOX it's the 10th season premiere of The X-Files.
