Billions premieres tonight

Tonight at 7:00 on A&E it's the Critics' Choice Red Carpet Live!, on FOX at 7:30 it's the return of Bob's Burgers.  Up at 8:00 on CBS it's a special 60 Minutes, A&E (and Lifetime) has the 21st Annual Critics' Choice Awards, Showtime has the series premiere of The Circus, Ovation has the series premiere of Rachel Hunter's Tour of Beauty.  At 8:30 Ovation has the series premiere of Los Angeles Times' the Envelope.

Up at 9:00 on AHC it's the special Justice for MLK, TBS has the series premiere of Angie Tribeca, CNN has the special Sunshine Superman, HMC has the special Flower Shop Mystery, CBS has a special Madam Secretary, NBC has the Democratic Debate, Bravo has the series premiere of The Real Housewives of Potomac and on ID it's the time slot premiere Unusual Suspects.

On Showtime at 10:00 it's the series premiere of Billions, ID has the series premiere of Evil Lives Here, CBS has a special The Good Wife, PBS has the series premiere of Mercy Street, E! has the 2nd season finale of The Royals, Cooking has the 6th season finale of Unique Sweets and on Bravo, Work Out New York moves to its new time slot.

Treme 4th and final season premieres tonight

Tonight at 8:00 on Centric it's The Soul Train Awards and Hallmark has the original telefilm The Christmas Spirit and at 8:30 on E! it's the Keeping up with the Kardashians: A Very Merry Christmas.

On ABC at 9:00 it's the original telefilm Christmas in Conway, PBS has the special Return to Downton Abbey, Ion has the original telefilm Holiday Road Trip, HBO has the 4th season premiere of Treme and on AMC it's the 4th season fall finale of The Walking Dead.

Up at 9:30 on CBS it's the 5th season fall finale of The Good Wife.  At 10:00 on Food it's the 17th season finale of Chopped & on Discovery it's the 2nd season finale of Yukon Men.  On AMC at 10:01 it's the 3rd season fall finale of Talking Dead and at 11:59 on AMC it's the 3rd season fall finale of Comic Book Men.

The Good Wife season finale is tonight

At 7:30 it's the 4th season premiere of Good Luck Charlie on Disney, at 8:00 on BBCA it's a special Doctor Who and on Bravo it's The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Secrets Revealed.

On CBS at 9:00 it's the 4th season finale of The Good Wife and at 10:00 on Bravo it's a special episode of The Kandi Factory, DA has the 1st season finale of Monsters and Mysteries in America, DIY has the 3rd season finale of The Vanilla Ice Project and on History it's the 1st season finale of Vikings.

Dexter and Revenge are both back tonight!

CBS has the 45th season premiere of 60 Minutes tonight at 7:00 and then at 8:00 the flurry of Sunday activity begins with the 21st edition (edition, really, a little full of ourselves aren't we?) premiere of The Amazing Race on CBS, on PBS it's the series premiere of Call the Midwife, Travel offers up the 2nd season premiere of Making Monsters.  On Animal Planet it's the 1st season finale of Off the Hook, ABC has the 2nd season premiere of Once Upon a Time and The Simpsons brings us it's 24th season premiere on FOX.  Up at 8:30 it's the 3rd season premiere of Bob's Burgers on FOX.

Dexter is back with its 7th season premiere at 9:00 on Showtime & I don't know how I missed it but I just learned that Calista Flockhart will be on this season and dudes...I don't like her but whatever, it's Dexter so I'll get over it.  Also at 9 on Spike it's the 2nd season finale of Bar Rescue, on FOX it's the 11th season premiere of Family Guy, on CBS the 4th season premiere of The Good Wife, on Food it's the 3rd season finale of Great Food Truck Race, TVG has the 2nd season finale of Nail Files and then on ABC it's the 2nd season premiere of Revenge.  I was hoping Revenge would be on at 10 but I'll still watch it at 10 and get to skip the commercials, all praise the DVR.  

At 9:30 on FOX it's the 8th season premiere of American Dad and on TVG the series premiere of The Shores.  Then at 10:00 on Showtime it's the 2nd season premiere of Homeland, CBS has the 5th season premiere of The Mentalist, Bravo has the first part of the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion and at 10:01 on ABC it's the series premiere of 666 Park Avenue.  The series premiere of Destination Fear airs at 11:00 on Travel.

The Good Wife season finale

Tonight at 8:00 tune into NGC for the series premiere of Secrets of Wild India, at 9:00 on A&E is the two hour 2nd season finale of Breakout Kings & then at 9:01 on ABC is the 3rd season finale of The Good Wife.

At 10:00 on TLC is the series premiere of My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding or the Secrets of Wild India 1st season finale.  If food is a little more your speed then head over to the Cooking Channel for the 5th season premiere of Unique Eats.

10:30 brings us the 2nd season finale of Ice Loves Coco on E! & we will get to see Spartacus & his girlfriend become parents!

What's on tomorrow, April 29th?

Sunday night at 8:00 NGC has the series premiere of Secrets of Wild India, at 9:00 on A&E is the two hour 2nd season finale of Breakout Kings, this is a new time slot & then at 9:01 is the 3rd season finale of The Good Wife on ABC.

At 10:00 on TLC is the series premiere of My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding or, if that's not quite your thing then check out Secrets of Wild India 1st season finale...this seems odd being that the series starts at 8 but maybe I'm reading something wrong.  If your palate is looking for something else then the Cooking Channel plates the 5th season premiere of Unique Eats for you as well.

Up at 10:30 on E! is the 2nd season finale of Ice Loves Coco & they are going to be grandparents...to their dog Spartacus' litter of pups with his baby mama.

Cancellation Updates

ABC - In case you didn't notice, the show "Work It" was cancelled...did it even make it to a 2nd episode?  Body of Proof is on it's way out & Cougar Town is hoping to gain some interest after going into syndication (not sure where or when that is happening) but is teetering at the moment, then again we've only had a couple episodes since the season return.


CBS - A Gifted Man is on it's way out & Unforgettable isn't doing so well either but is up in the air at the moment regarding cancellation.  The shows that are teetering are Rob, CSI: NY, The Good Wife, CSI: Miami, and Rules of Engagement.


CW - Ringer is doing really poorly but hasn't yet been cancelled, Nikita, Heart of Dixie & Gossip Girl are all on the edge with pretty shabby ratings but no official word has come through regarding the fate of any of them.


FOX - Allen Gregory has been cancelled while The Finder isn't looking so good right now either.  As for shows that are on the edge there are quite a few Fringe, Raising Hope, Terra Nova & Napoleon Dynamite.


NBC - Prime Suspect & The Firm were both cancelled already while Harry's Law is barely holding on.  Whitney is kind of in the middle while Are you there Chelsea is also leaning toward being cancelled.  


I'm sure we'll learn much more once all of the seasons have ended for the year so I'll keep you posted of any series recordings that you can remove from your DVR.
