Up at 8:00 on NBC it's time for the women's gymnastics & USA takes the gold for the first time since 1996 also up is more men's & women's swimming finals as well as women's synchronized diving. I'm pretty sure I saw that Michael Phelps collected quite a few gold medals today & has broken yet another record for most gold medals...not sure if that's just related to swimmers or not though. I'm sure we'll be hearing about all of this during the program tonight since it's clearly not live but if you are like me you'll DVR the whole 4 hours & just watch what you want & most likely be done with the whole thing in an hour. I never watch the fluff & fillers, just the competition & medals I'm interested in which for me means I'll be watching gymnastics & synchronized diving with my coffee tomorrow!!
